FAQs

What kind of healing work do you do?

I practice two main healing modalities: Nondual Kabbalistic Healing and Brennan Healing Science. In either case, healing sessions are scheduled to last 50 minutes in total.

Nondual Kabbalistic Healing is a healing modality in which we have a dialogue for 30 to 40 minutes and then for a further 5 to 10 minutes I embody meditative states that provide healing and are informed by the dialogue we just had.

Brennan Healing Science is a healing modality in which I work directly on your human energy field to bring about greater health and unblock or clear any distortions in your energy field.

Is what you do similar to Reiki or psychological counselling?

There are some similarities between Reiki and Brennan Healing Science. Reiki is an energy healing modality that can typically be learnt in a few weekends and may be helpful in a number of different circumstances but is often not as precise as Brennan Healing Science which also works with the human energy field but requires four years of intensive training to learn.

Nondual Kabbalistic Healing resembles counselling in that in both of these modalities one participates in some kind of therapeutic dialogue. However, the way that dialogue is conducted during a Nondual Kabbalistic Healing session does not necessarily follow the conventions of ordinary psychotherapeutic work. More importantly, Nondual Kabbalistic Healing is informed and seated in nondual consciousness, also sometimes known as advaita, and thus carries a meditative and transformational quality that goes beyond conventional psychological work.

What kinds of problems do you help with?

The healing work that I do has helped people with issues ranging from the physical to the psychological and the spiritual. For example, I have helped people with chronic pain, auto-immune disorders and Covid-19. I have helped people navigate difficult work and family situations, those desiring to change careers, and those wishing to create healthier boundaries and relationships with parents, siblings, and spouses. I have helped people going through a crisis of meaning or faith in their lives, a desire for spiritual awakening, or simply looking for greater wholeness and happiness in their lives.

What has been your path to doing healing work?

I started meditating and learning about spirituality and healing when I was 11 years old through the influence and guidance of my mother. As a teenager, I explored a number of different healing modalities and started visiting with a variety of healers and spiritual teachers. In my early twenties, I enrolled at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in Europe and completed a very thorough and intensive 4-year training program in energy healing and its connections to human psychology.

In subsequent years, I studied Nondual Kabbalistic Healing, a healing modality that does not directly work with the energy field but rather invites an unfolding of healing to occur by holding nondual consciousness. This advanced form of healing work complements the energy healing work that I had previously learnt. In my practice as a healer today, I use both these modalities and several others I have learnt over the years such as shamanism to bring about healing for my clients in the most fruitful way possible.

How many sessions before I see an improvement?

This is a very commonly asked question and unfortunately one that does not have a very clear answer. This varies tremendously depending on the overall context and the very specific situation at hand that needs healing. As a rule of thumb, I would recommend doing a series of six healing sessions and then evaluating the benefits accrued so far and whether one wishes to continue with further sessions after that.

What is interfaith ministry and what do you provide?

As an interfaith minister, I am trained in world religions and inter-spirituality, and can assist people in identifying their own spiritual values and beliefs through a process of spiritual self-discovery that takes place through spiritual counseling sessions. In addition to this, I am able to help you design and implement ceremonies that reflect your values and spiritual beliefs including ceremonies for weddings, baby blessings, rights of passage, funerals, and any other significant life event.

The bespoke nature of these ceremonies may be particularly useful when there are unique circumstances such as two individuals marrying from different spiritual backgrounds or for instance when members of the LGBTQ+ community wish to marry and are not able to do so under a more conventional religious framework.

What is the cost of your interfaith services?

Interfaith spiritual counselling sessions are charged at the same rate as healing sessions. Designing and implementing interfaith ceremonies is bespoke to each situation. Please book a free initial consultation to discuss any ceremonies you wish to create.

Do you see people in-person or online?

At the moment, I see people almost exclusively online, through Zoom. If you happen to be located in Victoria, British Columbia, it may be possible to arrange for an in-person meeting. Importantly though, the quality and effectiveness of my healing work and spiritual counseling do not depend on needing to be physically co-located and thus meeting on Zoom usually works very well for most people. Although interfaith ceremonies are usually done in person, they can be designed as online ceremonies for unique circumstances such as the Covid-19 worldwide pandemic or a gathering with participants across the globe.
